Description

You will own system reliability, observability, and incident response for production infrastructure and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and applications using Splunk and New Relic.
• Monitor production environments and respond to incidents to reduce downtime and service impact.
• Analyze recurring issues and drive automation initiatives to improve system stability and reduce operational risk.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering practices, including availability and incident management.
• Hands-on expertise with monitoring and observability tools, specifically Splunk and New Relic.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and improve MTTD and MTTR metrics.
• Experience driving automation to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining runbooks and knowledge repositories.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering, security, and operations teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with external vendors and infrastructure teams to enhance reliability.
