Own production environment health, ensuring high availability for distributed software applications across multiple regions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system health by monitoring availability and analyzing metrics from operating systems and applications.
• Build software and automated systems to manage platform infrastructure and application deployments.
• Design resilient, low-latency, multi-region architectures to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and recommend application configurations to optimize system performance.
• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing, release procedures, and capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of related experience in site reliability or systems engineering.
• Proficiency in programming using Python or Java (structured and object-oriented).
• Strong experience with AWS network services including Route 53, CloudFront, and Elastic Load Balancing.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation for infrastructure management.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, databases, and scripting.
• Ability to balance feature development speed with well-defined service level objectives.
• Experience providing operational support for large-scale distributed applications.
