Description

You will manage production environments and build automation to ensure service availability and SLO attainment for large-scale distributed applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance tooling and automation solutions to resolve issues impacting SLOs and prevent incidents.
• Design and implement service telemetry changes to support automation and proactive alerting.
• Act as the technical point of contact for large enterprise customers to manage service escalations.
• Analyze operational data to provide insights to Design and Product teams for improving supportability.
• Monitor system health and availability to provide primary operational support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall professional experience.
• 4-6 years of Site Reliability Engineering experience specifically within the Microsoft platform.
• Proficiency in programming using Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and structured programming.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments and Azure services.
• Experience building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Ability to measure and optimize system performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Coding experience beyond simple scripting.
• Proven success in technical engineering roles.
