Description

You will oversee a team of SREs while managing complex system uptime across cloud-native (AWS, GCP) and hybrid architectures. This role combines technical leadership with operational execution to ensure reliability, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Supervise SRE team efforts, providing guidance on objectives and issue resolution.
• Operationalize database and big data environments, ensuring process automation and agility.
• Create infrastructure capacity plans using estimation models to meet service level objectives.
• Enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns for security and engineering standards.
• Influence product, engineering, and security stakeholders on reliability and uptime improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing or administering software in public cloud environments.
• 10+ years of experience with Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, and/or Node.js.
• 10+ years of experience monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability.
• 10+ years of cross-functional knowledge in systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• 10+ years of system administration skills, including automation and orchestration of Linux/Windows.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience managing IaC via Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in highly secure, regulated, or compliant industries.
