Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line L1/L2 operational support for production applications and coordinate resolution with L2 and L3 engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions that reduce manual operational effort and improve service reliability.
• Monitor application health, availability and operational events using enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions for recurring production issues.
• Apply SRE practices including SLI, SLO and error budgeting to improve reliability and operational excellence.

Skills Required:

• 4 to 7 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
• Prior experience in Production Support environments.
• Exposure to automation and scripting, preferably using Python or any other programming language.
• Strong SQL and database query knowledge.
• Experience managing and supporting production applications.
• Understanding of automation, tooling, application development, and operational excellence.
• Hands-on experience with core SRE concepts such as SLI, SLO, and Error Budgeting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Sumo Logic, Dynatrace, or Datadog (any).
• L1/L2 Support experience, with the ability to work closely with L2 and L3 teams as the first line of defence.
• Exposure to cybersecurity tools such as Hashi Corp and Venafi will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Financial Services domain experience are preferred.
