Description

You will build the foundation for modern operations by improving environment monitoring and system health visibility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing monitoring systems to propose improvements for system health, SLIs, and performance tracking.
• Identify product issues in production and test environments and develop automated solutions to sustain incident management.
• Manage incident response, including troubleshooting, resolution, documentation, and post-mortem analysis.
• Act as a bridge between operations and development teams to share lessons learned.
• Write code to automate processes such as log analysis, production testing, and alert automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in reliability or operations roles.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, and general scripting.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
• Hands-on work with logging stacks such as ELK/Kibana or SEQ logging.
• Ability to work with SQL and MongoDB databases.
• Experience using Git for source code management.
• Proficiency with AzureDevOps and Wiki for project tracking.
• Foundational knowledge of inbound/outbound network rules and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure tools including SaltStack, Docker, and Zededa.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using PagerDuty for incident management and on-call rotations.
