Focus on AWS infrastructure reliability and toil reduction.

Responsibilities

• Create monitoring queries, proactive alerting rules, and establish service level baselines using Golden Signals.
• Lead incident response, write automation scripts for failovers and rollbacks, and present RCAs.
• Execute disaster recovery testing and automate system recovery using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Implement automated build and release processes to improve software delivery performance.
• Analyze ticket trends to identify toil and execute independent elimination projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AWS environments, including virtual networks and cloud storage.
• Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD, containers, orchestration, and configuration management.
• Create complex synthetic transactions and scripts for APIs and browser agents.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for monitoring user satisfaction and session performance.
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and distributed traces.
• Knowledge of securing cloud applications.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and support major incident recovery.
