Description

Own incident response and system stability for the Java Stack on AWS K8s, providing Tier 2 support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to PagerDuty, Slack, and email alerts within minutes without snoozing or assuming alert validity.
• Troubleshoot and recover systems using Wavefront and Splunk monitoring tools.
• Update and maintain Runbooks, Dashboards, and local automation repositories to the latest versions.
• Engage IOC and other Intuit teams during incidents, notifying secondary support via Slack or call if needed.
• Open Incidents when necessary and keep informed via critical channels like ioc and p14incnotification.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Tier 2 support roles.
• Hands-on experience with PagerDuty, Slack, and email-based incident management.
• Proficiency in AWS K8s (Kubernetes) and Java Stack troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Wavefront and Splunk.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with IOC and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to validate alerts and fix Runbooks under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling high-priority P1 incidents and customer-impacting issues.
