Own the availability, reliability, performance, and security of Azure-hosted applications while driving site reliability practices into development workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee application monitoring and resilience to ensure business SLAs are met.
• Implement DevSecOps practices and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage incidents, service improvements, and operational costs in collaboration with delivery functions.
• Execute support for customer-facing products using agile methodologies.
• Write code to automate solutions for operational problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional engineering or operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps architectures and containerization.
• Knowledge of web servers including Nginx and Apache/Tomcat.
• Understanding of networking concepts: DNS, HTTP, WAF, Load Balancing, and Reverse Proxy.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Development experience with Angular.js, Node.js, SQL, or Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, App Insights, Splunk, or SolarWinds.
