Description

You will lead the reliability, deployment, and lifecycle management of edge devices and server infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Linux issues and application bugs to implement break fixes within defined SLAs.
• Manage remote deployment, reboots, and lifecycle of edge gateways.
• Develop and manage outage schedules, software updates, and deployment pipelines.
• Configure alerting rules to monitor and protect edge device performance.
• Establish standards, policies, and procedures to improve infrastructure and service delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• 3+ years of hands-on Linux experience (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS) including command line configuration.
• 3+ years of Linux networking experience (DHCP, DNS, static routing, multiple interfaces).
• 3+ years of experience with virtualization (VirtualBox, Xen, VMware) and image automation using Packer.
• Proficiency in scripting with BASH and Python.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Experience with Docker (image building, registry management) and Kubernetes (K3S, minikube, kubectl, helm, OpenShift).
• Knowledge of building installers including DPKG, RPM, NSIS, and WiX.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing remote edge device performance and reliability.
