Description

You will lead performance engineering initiatives and implement SRE best practices across cross-functional teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
• Build and optimize New Relic dashboards to provide actionable performance insights.
• Drive incident management and system resilience efforts across the organization.
• Educate application teams on SRE maturity, moving from basic monitoring to distributed tracing.
• Partner with senior managers to align reliability objectives with business needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming.
• Expertise in observability tools including New Relic, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Proven ability to implement distributed tracing and monitoring frameworks.
• Experience defining and managing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive program-level initiatives.
• Strong background in incident management and system resilience.
