Description

You will own the reliability, availability, and performance of critical platforms and infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health, proactively identify risks, and resolve service-impacting issues across distributed environments.
• Instrument applications, infrastructure, and APIs for full-stack visibility, designing monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing solutions.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, building actionable alerts that reduce noise and improve response efficiency.
• Automate operational tasks, health checks, and recovery workflows while supporting CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to enhance system resilience and operational processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, infrastructure, or production engineering.
• Strong experience with distributed and cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on expertise in monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and observability practices.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Java, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and incident management.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and strong troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Experience creating executive dashboards and operational scorecards.
