Description

You will manage distributed infrastructure using open-source technologies across multiple datacenters. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage distributed infrastructure and ensure product SLAs across multiple datacenters.
• Perform capacity planning and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Implement Platform as a Service solutions to enhance team efficiency.
• Automate manual procedures through scripting to reduce operational toil.
• Use data and metrics to drive decision-making with a focus on security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in site reliability or systems engineering.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, OS fundamentals, and core network principles.
• Proficiency with container orchestration including OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm.
• Experience administering configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible Tower (AWX), or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with load balancers like HAProxy, Nginx, or F5.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging stacks including Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Graylog.
• Experience managing web servers such as Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Golang.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).
