Description

Ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise applications in a 24x7 production environment through incident management, monitoring, and release support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage major incidents (P1/P2), performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to minimize business impact.
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards, implementing proactive alerting to improve system observability and operational continuity.
• Diagnose and resolve application and data-related issues using SQL queries and log analysis across distributed environments.
• Support release deployments, change validation, and post-deployment activities, including disaster recovery testing.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles while collaborating with infrastructure and development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and application support.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Jira for ticketing and ITIL-based processes.
• Operational knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, VPC).
• Understanding of database systems including Oracle and SQL Server.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQR and basic Java for backend validation.
• Experience with batch monitoring and scheduling tools.
