Description

You will own the reliability and operations of critical infrastructure and applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize RedHat Enterprise Linux servers for high availability and performance.
• Implement security best practices across enterprise and IoT systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server and Sybase databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Perl, or PowerShell for monitoring and operations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues spanning infrastructure and applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in infrastructure or SRE roles.
• Expertise in RedHat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, or Perl for automation.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with VMware environments.
• Database administration experience with SQL Server and Sybase.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
