Description

You will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of services by bridging software engineering and systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Develop automation tools for system provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
• Manage monitoring and logging tools to maintain visibility into system health.
• Lead incident response efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage and provision infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Loggly.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with database management including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
