Design, build, and maintain high-availability systems for cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement self-healing tools, auto-remediation scripts, and deployment frameworks to minimize manual intervention.
• Build reusable software modules for cloud system automation using Python and other programming languages.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for complex issues across hardware, software, database, and network stacks.
• Maintain business continuity by identifying resilience gaps and driving automation initiatives.
• Participate in a shared on-call schedule following the sun model across SRE and Engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software development or site reliability engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Java, C++, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.
• Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Saltstack, Chef, or Puppet.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS internals, including user management, filesystems, and package management.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns (DRY, SOA, Singleton, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot production environments using DNS, OSI stack, and network protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with server virtualization technologies like Eucalyptus, OpenStack, or CloudStack.
• RHCE/RHCA certification or equivalent Linux administration expertise.
