Description

You will manage production failures, conduct root cause analysis, and drive remediation for large-scale distributed systems across GCP, PCF, and on-premise environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 support and ensure reliability of mission-critical Java, .NET, and Batch applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, database, and network failures.
• Own and deliver user stories including code debugging, issue analysis, and knowledge base creation.
• Build monitoring solutions using APM tools and automate daily operational tasks.
• Drive incident management, tech lines, and service restoration during major outages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting complex, large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: GCP, PCF, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting with Shell, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSec, VPN) and load balancers.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment strategies.
• Ability to troubleshoot Linux/Unix environments and perform root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, ITRS, AppMetrics, or MoogSoft.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to batch job failure analysis and remediation.
