Description

Maintain system stability and performance across distributed environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex system and process problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
• Resolve moderately to highly complex system and application incidents independently.
• Identify and propose fixes for performance bottlenecks and evaluate application capacity requirements.
• Implement base standards for new systems and evaluate infrastructure solutions for technical feasibility.
• Build test coverage for software development and manage web server configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SRE or systems administration roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Node, or Java for automation and test coverage.
• Expertise in Linux and Windows platforms, including OS tuning and performance monitoring.
• Experience with distributed systems and container platforms such as Kubernetes/GKE, ECS, or Fargate.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure hosting services.
• Strong knowledge of CI pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with web servers including Apache, Node.js, Nginx, and Tomcat.
• Experience with networking protocols including HTTP, TLS, SSH, and DNS.
• Competency with data technologies such as NoSQL, MySQL, Redis, or Elastic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like AppDynamics or New Relic.
• Proficiency with Git for source control management.
