Description

You will maintain the resiliency, performance, and availability of Digital Sales & Marketing platforms within a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues by reading stack traces and exceptions.
• Represent platform engineering teams during outages and collaborate with engineering to resolve them.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with stakeholders to implement permanent resolutions.
• Build monitoring dashboards and configure alerts to proactively spot performance bottlenecks.
• Automate tasks to remove toil and maintain SLAs and SLOs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Production Support or SRE teams.
• Hands-on Java/J2EE coding experience, including Spring and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with JavaScript, Angular, or React stacks.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, SOAP, and REST API styles.
• Expertise in Splunk for monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and MongoDB queries.
• Hands-on use of APM tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Experience with container orchestration and resource management like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or PCF.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of caching tools like Redis or memcache and messaging tools such as Kafka or MQ.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
