Description

You will build and operate large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems within a DevSecOps environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build highly available, cost-effective systems and infrastructure as code patterns using Terraform, cloud CLI, or SDKs.
• Develop tools and scripts for incident auto-remediation and end-to-end monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate with development and cloud operations teams to resolve trouble tickets and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in a 24/7, follow-the-sun incident and problem management rotation as a first responder.
• Monitor infrastructure and application uptime and availability.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, or networking.
• 1+ years of experience developing or administering software in public cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with Linux/Windows automation and orchestration using Terraform, Chef, Ansible, or containers like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrable knowledge of systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tooling and practices.
• BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Go, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or GitOps principles.
• Experience using Datadog for APM, Synthetic Monitoring, or Infrastructure Monitoring.
