Description

Own the reliability, automation, and performance of critical Google Cloud infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and uptime of critical services and infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud services.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve system efficiency.
• Implement monitoring solutions and respond to incidents to minimize downtime.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for future growth.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in site reliability engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.
• Familiarity with Google BI and AI/ML tools (Looker, BigQuery ML, Vertex AI).
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or similar Linux certification.
