Description

You will maintain the reliability, availability, and performance of global infrastructure components.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture and development teams on building highly available and performant applications at scale.
• Partner with architecture teams to ensure operability, measurability, and manageability are integrated into business features.
• Collaborate with product owners to implement and monitor metrics required to meet SLOs and SLAs.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues within software, pipelines, or DevOps processes.
• Manage database administration tasks including configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for automation programming.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes containerization.
• Strong Linux and Cloud administration skills, preferably with AWS.
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux OS internals and administration.
• Experience writing shell scripts and using Linux terminal tools.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and network topologies.
• Experience with database administration, including configuration, patching, and query languages.
• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine manual tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases and high-performance database management.
• Knowledge of Debian-based systems.
