Description

Own the reliability, availability, and performance of globally distributed Kubernetes-based production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate and scale production-grade Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting pods, nodes, networking, storage, and the control plane.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Argo CD for safe deployments.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki; design alerting strategies to reduce noise and improve signal quality.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews (PIRs), improving runbooks and on-call readiness for 24x7 global operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or platform engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes operations in production, including containerized workload reliability and resilience patterns.
• Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform to design and manage cloud infrastructure integrated with Kubernetes.
• Monitoring, alerting, and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Solid understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
• CI/CD and GitOps delivery using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
• Experience supporting MySQL in production.

Preferred Skills

• AWS and/or GCP experience.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD/CKS).
