You combine software engineering expertise with IT operations to ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated solutions to ensure high availability and resiliency of applications.
• Respond to production incidents, develop downtime minimization protocols, and conduct post-mortems.
• Set up and manage monitoring systems to track performance metrics and address system health proactively.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for speed and resource utilization.
• Leverage automation tools to reduce manual interventions across operational tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in SRE or a related field.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and configuration management like Jenkins and Ansible.
• Experience managing distributed systems, databases, and networking concepts.
• Ability to perform incident response and lead post-mortem reviews.
