Description

You will own observability, incident management, and automation to ensure system reliability. You will define SLOs, reduce operational toil, and partner with engineering teams to improve production hygiene.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain observability stacks including monitoring, logging, and tracing aligned to service health.
• Drive incident management, including on-call readiness, triage, incident command, and post-incident reviews (RCA).
• Reduce operational toil through automation, such as self-healing scripts, deployment/rollback automation, and runbook conversion.
• Establish reliability standards by defining SLOs/SLIs, managing error budgets, and conducting production readiness reviews.
• Perform capacity planning, load analysis, and resilience testing to mitigate failure modes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps practices.
• Strong grounding in incident management, blameless postmortems, SLOs/SLIs, and error budgets.
• Experience building and operating monitoring/logging systems and using logs/metrics to diagnose issues.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, specifically Azure Databricks with Unity Catalog, AWS S3, and RDS.
• Strong experience in ETL/ELT work pipelines.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts, safe deployment patterns, and rollback strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration platforms.
• Experience managing large datasets (multi-million row datasets).
