Description

Design, operate, and continuously improve highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise platforms by blending middleware operations with SRE principles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for middleware and platform services.
• Drive MTTR reduction, availability improvements, and operational resilience for production systems.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCAs), and post-incident reviews.
• Administer and support enterprise middleware platforms including Oracle WebLogic and API Gateways.
• Develop automation and self-healing solutions using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Middleware Operations or SRE.
• Strong expertise in Java, Oracle WebLogic, Apache, and NGINX.
• Proficiency in automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience with observability platforms like Dynatrace, ELK, or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with API platforms, specifically API Gateways.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized workloads.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Practical experience implementing SRE principles in production environments.
