Description

You will manage system uptime for cloud-native and hybrid architectures while building the automation and tooling that keeps production stable.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage system uptime across AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns using Terraform and cloud SDKs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and cloud architecture.
• Create automated tooling to deploy service requests for production changes.
• Lead blameless postmortems and own action items to prevent future recurrences.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, or networking.
• 5+ years developing or administering software in a public cloud environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cross-functional systems, storage, networking, and security.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Preferred Skills

• DevSecOps experience and knowledge of GCP.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise or critical infrastructure transformation.
