Description

You will develop and support Site Reliability Engineering solutions for Retail Banking Payments Technology.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for incident and problem management.
• Automate existing processes and manual tasks to drive continuous improvement in productivity and tooling.
• Own root cause analysis (RCA) action items and manage technology currency, including server patching and certificate renewal.
• Develop SRE solutions for monitoring, alerting, machine learning anomaly detection, and self-healing.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to document core functionalities, infrastructure, and common components of supported applications.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience as an SRE.
• Proficiency in Python, YAML, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Azure and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools including Dynatrace, Prometheus, Moog, Splunk, and Elastic.
• Knowledge of Chaos Engineering principles.
• Experience with MQ and Kafka.
• Ability to perform production support, including off-hours requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
