Description

You will own the reliability, scalability, and migration of backend services and infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly reliable, scalable backend services.
• Lead infrastructure migration from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Implement and manage system observability and monitoring using AppDynamics.
• Optimize application code and infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce resource usage.
• Proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures to avoid system outages.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud migration strategies.
• Proven expertise in observability and monitoring tools, specifically AppDynamics.
• Deep understanding of system performance tuning, scalability, and reliability principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive risk management mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams.
• Background in incident response readiness and high availability systems.
