Description

You will own the reliability, deployment, and automation of microservices across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end CI/CD and deployment pipelines for microservices using open-source tooling.
• Automate DevOps pipelines across Dev, QA, and Production to ensure scale, resilience, and availability.
• Integrate security and DevSecOps practices into automated pipelines.
• Implement branching strategies, build job development, deployment packaging, and environment automation.
• Develop and support cloud-based microservice platform implementations.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in automated DevOps pipeline creation and CI/CD using Jenkins.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployment on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of build and dependency tools including Gradle, Maven, and Artifactory.
• Familiarity with SonarQube and SCM tools like Git or SVN.
• Experience with open-source technologies including Kafka, Cassandra, Consul, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Vault.
• Ability to use monitoring and observability tools to visualize application and infrastructure services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Architecture, networking, and security.
• Experience managing hybrid systems spanning Edge and Cloud.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, latency, and high availability.
