Description

You will own the reliability, security, and patching of server infrastructure across on-premise and Azure environments. You manage vulnerability lifecycles, implement observability, and drive automation to reduce operational risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enterprise vulnerability program using Brinqa to aggregate, prioritize, and report risks across server infrastructure.
• Plan and execute server patching for Windows and Linux, tracking compliance and reducing mean time to patch.
• Maintain observability using Datadog, designing dashboards and alerting to define and measure SLOs and SLIs.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline patching workflows and remediation efforts.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call rotations to ensure production stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SRE or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
• Proven experience implementing observability solutions with Datadog.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD.
• Experience managing vulnerability management tools such as Brinqa or Qualys.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Microsoft Azure and on-premise hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and operational best practices.
