Description

You will manage and maintain relational databases within cloud-native environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage MySQL or PostgreSQL databases in cloud-native environments.
• Develop automated scripts for database provisioning, monitoring, backups, scaling, and recovery.
• Implement Kubernetes-based deployments for stateful workloads and database containers.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and capacity planning.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm to automate database deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an SRE or DBA.
• Hands-on experience managing MySQL or PostgreSQL in production.
• Experience managing stateful applications within Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform proactive monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
