Description

You will design and build analytical systems in a multi-tier data environment to support large-scale technical transformations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Build and maintain data ingestion frameworks, subscription managers, and data-driven event workflows.
• Optimize the streaming of dynamic datasets to handle increasing data volumes.
• Write and maintain high-quality code following established coding standards in an agile environment.
• Collaborate with business analysts and team leads to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Deep understanding of the Java memory model and multi-threaded application development using concurrency packages.
• Extensive experience with relational databases, including logical modelling and optimized querying of large datasets.
• Practical knowledge of database indexing and transaction management.
• Experience implementing unit tests using JUnit.
• Proficiency in scripting with Shell, Perl, or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Risk or Financial Systems development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
