Description

You will manage the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments for the equipment and facilities department.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines to ensure operational readiness.
• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair broken machinery quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain files for warranties, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts.
• Manage inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment and replacement parts.
• Collaborate with management to prepare and implement budgets and recommend new equipment purchases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance or site supervision.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and maintenance inspections.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand tools and operate production equipment safely.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine repairs.
• Fundamental computer application knowledge and ability to use mobile communication devices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
• Basic math skills and ability to collect data on tool performance.
• Valid Driver’s License or State issued ID.
• Ability to potentially obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree or equivalent proven work experience.
