Description

You will provide sitework engineering services, design preparation, and field support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, calculations, and technical documentation for sitework projects.
• Conduct site walk-downs and develop cost estimates and material take-offs.
• Perform earthwork calculations, hydrology calculations, and retention pond designs.
• Coordinate with production design teams and manage permitting for municipal, ALDOT, and environmental agencies.
• Ensure safety is integrated into all designs and field activities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in sitework engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil sitework design.
• Extensive knowledge or certification in erosion and sediment control measures.
• Experience with earthwork calculations and site balancing.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations including ADEM and MDEQ.
• Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in the Office suite.
• Previous sitework construction experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to reside within one hour of the Birmingham, AL office.
