You will develop and maintain Smalltalk applications.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of Smalltalk applications to newer platforms, ensuring stability, quality, and feature compatibility.
• Enhance, debug, and maintain existing Smalltalk codebases, ensuring continuity during modernization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and align migration tasks with goals.
• Apply object‑oriented design principles to refactor and optimize legacy components.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and improve application performance for seamless system integration.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in software development with significant Smalltalk background.
• Strong proficiency in Object‑Oriented Programming concepts and patterns.
• Experience in application migration, modernization, or legacy system redesign.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Smalltalk and OOP principles.
• Experience with Debugging tools.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and collaborate with technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
