Description

You will develop, maintain, and modernize Smalltalk applications, ensuring stability and feature compatibility during migration to newer platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support migration of Smalltalk applications to newer platforms.
• Enhance, debug, and maintain existing Smalltalk codebases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements.
• Apply object-oriented design principles to refactor legacy components.
• Troubleshoot complex issues to improve application performance.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of software development experience with significant Smalltalk background.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and patterns.
• Experience in application migration, modernization, or legacy system redesign.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Smalltalk and OOP principles.
• Experience with debugging tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
