Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop document templates using SmartCOMM Studio for enterprise client communications.
- Implement business rules, conditional logic, dynamic content suppression, and variable substitution.
- Integrate SmartCOMM templates with core business platforms via XML, XSD, XSLT, and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to translate requirements into publication definitions and resource sets.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and support UAT cycles within defined SLAs.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years dedicated to SmartCOMM / Thunderhead development.
- Strong proficiency in XML, XSD, XSLT, and JavaScript for template data mapping and dynamic logic.
- Hands-on experience creating complex compositions (e.g., policy declarations, billing statements, regulatory notices).
- Solid understanding of multi-channel output generation (Print, Web, PDF, Digital).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Supplementary Skills:
- Exposure to legacy or adjacent CCM platforms (Adobe LiveCycle, HP Exstream, Quadient Inspire).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology and Jira/Rally tools
