Roles and Responsibilities:

• Refactor and modernize monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures by defining service boundaries, APIs, and communication patterns.
• Design and implement scalable cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
• Define Helm charts and deployment templates, and implement configuration and secrets management.
• Enable CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Improve system reliability and production operability through logging, monitoring, tracing, and resilience patterns.
• Perform code reviews and lead refactoring efforts to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and performant systems.
• Ensure security, availability, and disaster recovery standards are met for cloud-native services.
• Drive adoption of cloud modernization frameworks, reusable components, and best practices across teams.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in modernizing monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization practices.
• Solid backend development experience with a good understanding of scalable system design.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
• Knowledge of observability tools including logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Ability to implement secure, highly available, and resilient cloud-native solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and architectural decision-making skills.
