Description

Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Snowflake architecture and analytics solutions. Own the migration from Hadoop to Snowflake for large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake data warehouse architectures and effective analytics models.
• Manage end-to-end architectural requirements, including data flows between systems and applications.
• Evaluate business requirements to define structural necessities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor system performance through testing, troubleshooting, and feature integration.
• Guide administrators in preparing functional and technical specifications for reporting and ETL processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and architecture.
• Expertise in Snowflake Cloud, including Snowflake SQL, Administration, and Stored Procedures.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with UNIX environments.
• Proven track record of managing Hadoop to Snowflake migrations for large-scale customers.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
• Ability to build frameworks for ingestion, audit, logging, and reconciliation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Big Data tools like Talend.
• Domain expertise in Transmission & Distribution, specifically Grid Modernization and Grid Analytics.
