Description

You will manage and maintain Snowflake environments to support data engineering and analytics workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake environments, including user roles, access control, and resource monitoring.
• Develop, test, and deploy ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake SQL and tools like Informatica, DBT, or Matillion.
• Monitor query performance and storage utilization to implement tuning and optimization strategies.
• Automate warehouse scaling, Snowpipe ingestion, and task scheduling.
• Manage data sharing, replication, and failover across Snowflake accounts while implementing RBAC and masking policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake architecture and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Cloning, and External Tables.
• Proficiency in SnowSQL and CLI-based operations.
• Experience working with semi-structured data formats such as JSON, XML, Avro, and Parquet using VARIANT.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data ingestion tools and scripting in Python or Shell.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.

Preferred Skills

• Strong background in performance tuning.
