Description

Administer and optimize enterprise Snowflake data platforms across development, QA, and production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce RBAC security models and data access auditing to minimize unauthorized access risks.
• Configure and maintain Talend Administration Center (TAC) to support ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
• Optimize warehouse configurations and auto-suspend policies to reduce compute costs by 30–40%.
• Implement Snowpipe, COPY commands, Streams, and Tasks for near real-time ingestion and incremental processing.
• Monitor query history and resource usage to troubleshoot load errors and long-running queries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Snowflake environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL scripting, task scheduling, and Medallion architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with Talend or similar ETL/ELT tools and data platforms.
• Proven track record of configuring RBAC, data sharing, and compliance best practices.
• Experience supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing data sharing with internal and external consumers.
• Background in mission-critical, fast-paced environments.
