Description

Manage and optimize Snowflake and Teradata environments through technical leadership and operational support.

Manage Snowflake operations including warehouses, users, databases, schemas, and roles. Optimize Snowflake workloads and monitor for anomalies like incorrect grants or warehouse sizing issues. Resolve user requests and complete ServiceNow tasks within established timelines. Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot issues and fulfill data requirements. Participate in on-call rotations to provide off-hour operational support.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake operations including warehouses, users, databases, schemas, and roles.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in Snowflake Administration.
• Active Snowflake Certification.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture and operations.
• Strong relational database and SQL skills.
• Experience with Snowflake features including Cloning, Share, Secure Views, Caches, and scaling.
• Proficiency in managing warehouse sizes and scaling.
• Ability to manage projects within budget objectives and customer priorities.
