Description

You will manage and optimize the Snowflake cloud data platform operations.

You will own the release pipeline and operational stability of the Snowflake environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and document operational aspects of the Snowflake cloud data platform.
• Implement and support automation for production deployments and Snowflake administration (Accounts/Databases/Roles).
• Implement data sharing and replication across clouds and regions for internal and external clients.
• Design and implement data encryption, decryption, and masking policies for PII/PCI data protection.
• Propose and implement query performance optimizations and identify system bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Snowflake Server Administrator.
• Expertise in Snowflake administration, design, and optimization.
• Experience managing Snowflake on AWS and Azure environments.
• Proficiency in implementing DB security standards at both infrastructure and application levels.
• Ability to create Snowflake utilization and capacity plans.
• Experience with data migration and security within Snowflake.
• Familiarity with GitHub integration for Snowflake data loading.
• Knowledge of cost monitoring and optimization within Snowflake.
