Description

You will own the administration and optimization of the Snowflake data platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, warehouses, databases, schemas, and roles.
• Configure, monitor, and optimize warehouse performance and workload distribution.
• Implement user and security management including MFA, network policies, data masking, and access control.
• Automate administrative tasks and data workflows using Python or dbt.
• Maintain strong data warehousing concepts and cloud platform standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Snowflake administration.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake platform architecture and cloud data warehousing.
• Expertise in user management, role-based access control, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in Python for automation of administrative tasks.
• Experience with dbt for data workflow management.
• Proven ability to monitor query performance and optimize warehouse efficiency.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of actual experience as a Snowflake Admin.
• Background in Hadoop or Big Data administration.
