Description

You will manage Snowflake environments, focusing on compute, storage, and data governance across multiple organizational accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Snowflake accounts and implement data replication for failover and cross-region sharing.
• Design and develop secure access to objects using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Implement data governance via column-level security, secure views, and dynamic data masking.
• Optimize performance by managing load operations, warehouses, and monitoring.
• Execute data recovery and agile development using Time Travel and Zero Copy Cloning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data administration or related roles.
• Degree in any graduate field.
• Hands-on experience with Snowpark, Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, and Python.
• Expertise in Snowflake features including Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with Snowflake Optimizer and warehouse management.
• Knowledge of data sharing via private link for internal and external use.
• Ability to manage compute and storage aspects within Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex migrations, specifically from Cloudera to Snowflake.
• Proficiency in managing Snowpark containers and Snowpark optimized warehouses.
