Description

You will manage and maintain the Snowflake cloud-based data warehousing platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage Snowflake accounts, users, roles, and security access controls.
• Develop Python scripts for data loading, transformation, and automation using Pandas, NumPy, and the Snowflake Connector.
• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses while optimizing storage and processing.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and reporting.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure quality, security, and compliance.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Snowflake administration.
• Strong SQL skills, including query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and scripting.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies.
• Snowflake certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data engineering, architecture, or DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
