Description

You will administer Snowflake accounts and support the control plane to enable tenant workloads for projects like Datamart and Client Analytics. You will integrate Snowflake with various BI tools and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake DB, including metadata schemas and internal mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD automation using GitLab and Python.
• Design distributed data loading solutions using Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark.
• Create proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to solve architectural problems.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Snowflake administration, internals, and information metadata schemas.
• Strong SQL experience and knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, Vertica).
• Proficiency in Python, Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark for data engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitLab.
• Working knowledge of distributed cloud services, preferably Azure.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization in cloud services.
• Familiarity with in-memory databases like Hazelcast.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile methodologies.
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
