Description

You will administer Snowflake accounts and support the control plane to enable tenant workloads. You will provide development effort for data mart and client analytics projects, collaborating with product owners and quality engineers to solve architectural problems. You will integrate Snowflake with BI tools and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. You will also create quick proofs of value for new cloud features.

Responsibilities

• Administer Snowflake accounts and manage metadata schemas and internals.
• Implement CI/CD and automation using GitLab and DevOps practices.
• Integrate Snowflake with various BI tools and distributed data loading systems.
• Develop solutions for data mart projects using SQL and distributed services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and solve design problems.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Snowflake administration, including information metadata schemas and internals.
• Strong SQL experience and proficiency in Python.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitLab, and DevOps automation.
• Working knowledge of distributed data loading tools: Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark.
• Familiarity with relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Vertica, and Hazelcast.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization in cloud services, preferably Azure.
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent graduate degree).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/ML applications.
